Valentine's Day

RSS
Every year, on Valentine’s Day, when I was little, I always got a small bag of goodies, like candies or a stuffed animal or costume jewelry, from my parents. It wasn’t a lot or anything fancy, but it made the day a little more fun and special for me. My mom always had a plethora of heart items decorating the house, and it made the holiday more fun. I know Valentine’s Day can be slightly overrated, but I’m not going to complain about a holiday centered around candy and love. It also gives us another excuse to decorate. And don’t we all love to get festive and decorate?
For those of you who are suckers for everything Valentine’s Day, I say, go all out. Hang a hundred heart garlands, spread little XO confetti on every surface, and make sure all the tables are adorned with pink and red centerpieces.
We do have some really cute things in our shop, for Valentine’s Day, to make your life a little easier when it comes to decorating.
Or just shoot us an email and we’ll make something custom for you!
Not into the typical Valentine’s Day decor?
Decorate with greenery! I’m sure this could be an easy DIY with some wire and faux vines and flowers from Michael’s. This one is definitely going on my to-do list.
Here I go with more easy DIYs. Paint some cheap vases from Home Goods, (seriously go to Home Goods; they’re amazing), and stop by Michael’s to grab some flowers. Easy peezy.
So get to decorating, beautiful people. It’ll be here before you know it. And even though Valentine’s Day may be a very commercial holiday, I still really feel the love during that time of year. (Cue Billy Mack, in Love Actually, singing “love is all around me.” The real version. Not his Christmas one.)
